About Dr. Samskrati Gulvady
Creating Global Citizens While Preserving Cultural Heritage
My academic journey from India to Oman spans nearly two decades in higher education. As Assistant Professor at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences, Salalah, I’ve shaped several future media professionals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
My belief: The most successful global professionals navigate multiple cultural contexts whilst remaining authentically themselves. Through research on intercultural communication and classroom innovations, I help students develop “cultural fluency”—bridging different worlds without losing their identity.
